PuppyLink is a remastered version of Puppy Linux 4.1 that includes the svxlink suite of voice services software for radio amateurs.

PuppyLink is easily remastered to become a personalised boot/rescue disk for doing ECHOLINK on any hardware, anywhere, anytime.? Just be sure to leave the session open (ie “multisession”) when burning the CDROM.? Then set your callsign and password in QTEL and make sure it all works.? When you close the session, select “save to cd” and your custom boot CD is done!

Puppy 4.1 is a small. fast, RAM-resident operating system based on linux 2.6.25 that can eliminate the need for disk storage.? It is easy and intuitive to learn thanks to the incredible work of West Aussie Barry Kauler and a worldwide network of volunteers.

Svxlink is the work of Tobias Blomberg SM0SVX. This is a full install with ip based remote trx control, full duplex repeater controller logic, ECHOLINK gateway logic, the QTEL echolink client etc etc. As much documantation as possible has been included.

We are working on a no-GUI puppy? ie no qtel but very small for building repeater controllers from minimal hardware.
